A Message from the Rumba Executive Board

Support RUHS Band & Guard – Every Contribution Matters!

At RUMBA, our mission is to ensure that every student who wants to participate in the RUHS Band and Guard programs has the opportunity to do so. In partnership with families, we work hard to keep fees as low as possible by fundraising throughout the year.

However, band and guard fees must be paid to sustain the high-quality music education and performance opportunities our students receive. These contributions directly fund instructors, competition fees, transportation, uniforms, and other program essentials.

Your support—whether through fee payments, donations, or participation in fundraising events—helps keep this incredible program thriving for all students. Thank you for being a vital part of our band and guard community!

Band Fees are invoiced to your student's Booster Hub account at the time of registration.

TUSD Fine Arts Fee

TUSD requires all students participating in the fine arts to pay a $50 fee. This is separate from the RUMBA fees and is paid directly to TUSD. These funds are used to support the band program.

Fall Semester: All participants are required to pay a $50 fee for band and guard participation.

Spring Semester: Students participating in Winter Guard and Winter Indoor Percussion pay a $50 fee.

TUSD policy requires that all students wishing to participate in the extracurricular competition competent of their team must have their fees paid before rehearsing or performing. This is enforced beginning the 10th day of school.
